The DoubleBack is a third party extension to the Volkswagon Transporter. With the simple touch of a button the DoubleBack adds about 7 feet of extra space to the back of the Transporter for bed space. The touch button functionality also initiates the pop-up roof.
The standard Transport gets just over 37 mpg’s and with the additional weight of the pod, the mpg’s are only reduced to about 36 mpg’s.
