The Trout LT is available in both a weight forward (WF) and a double taper (DT) option, and after numerous requests and a lot of careful product testing, RIO is pleased to announce the addition of the super-light 000, 00 and 0 weights in the double taper option. These extremely light lines take delicate presentations to the next level, and are perfect for fishing small streams with the lightest of rods. Each line has a long, fine front (and back) taper that gives the softest of presentations with small dry flies, emergers and soft hackles, and guarantees the utmost in delicacy.
Each line is manufactured with a very supple braided multifilament core and features an extremely soft, memory-free AgentX coating that lands quietly and lifts equally quiet off the water. RIO’s XS Technology results in a smooth, dirt-repelling finish and the Super Floatation Technology ensures that the line tip does not sink. Available in a subtle sage color, and with a head length of 80-foot, these new lines can be found at any RIO dealer for $74.95.
